In the focus of her research was the preparation and characterization of chiral fullerene derivatives, in particular the investigation of the chiroptical properties of these complex spherical molecules. By this work, she gained sound knowledge in synthesis and analytics, as well as in use of specialized laboratory devices, above all in method development and implementation of HPLC with special stationary phases.
