Dr. Rüfenacht has a background in theoretical high energy physics providing him with a fundamental understanding for the description of physical processes. In addition to many years of pratice in patent law, he has extensive experience in trademark law, including the adversary proceedings before Swiss and international authorities (Swiss opposition proceedings, appeals to the Federal Administrative Court; WIPO; Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market OHIM).
